Weaver notches Top-10 finish in Fall Classic opener

On Friday evening, Randy Weaver hopped behind the wheel of the Henderson Motorsports No. 10 Late Model for the 27th annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.). Drawing 31 Late Models for the two-day event, Weaver missed a transfer spot in his heat by one spot, relegating him into the B-Main on Saturday. (DirtonDirt photo)

Coming in second, Randy locked into the 20th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Weaver gained 12 spots in the 100-lap affair to finish eighth.
